ParticipantLynda,
Just finishing up my 7th week Brec Epic PR training plan. More good news! I have really worked to stick to the plan and have only added a bit here and taken a bit away there because of “Life Challenges” a handful of times.
I completed another 20 minute test up in Mammoth the past weekend and managed to increase power output by 6 watts and took 15 more seconds off of my PR from 4 weeks ago! I would really like to thank you so much for all of the gains that have happened so far and appreciate the help you have provided!Courtland

ParticipantI’ll follow the plan. I’m working too hard, spending too much time and money to get the Epic right and I’m not gonna have a “What if?” in the equation. Looks like your crew had a great weekend of racing! Congrats!!

ParticipantI would think the entire ride would take at least 8hrs? My wife and I were thinking of driving down to do it. She would only be riding for 30 miles total I could go as far as needed for the 5hrs and pull the plug. It’s only a couple hrs from where we live and the air and temps have been pretty bad here and wanted cooler temps, cleaner air and some new tasty post ride food!

ParticipantI’m toying with the idea of doing this ride this coming weekend? http://www.strava.com/routes/418803
I’m starting week #5 of Breck Epic plan and know this would go way past the 5hrs slated for Saturday. What’s your thoughts?N8rhino
ParticipantSorry, I was was referring to the Breck Epic and the FTP context of W/Kg.
N8rhino
ParticipantThat’s some pretty substantial changes! Somewhat on the same subject. What do you believe the front of the 40+ mens field W/Kg is? I realize that there are many other factors, but for a performance goal.

ParticipantWeek 6 has past and the rate of healing and moving back towards “Normal” seems to be accelerating!

ParticipantWeek five is here and took more X-rays of the collarbone.

ParticipantI can't remember if I thanked you for those grips?

ParticipantI really tried to follow my original plan for the XC and just kept modifing it to handle the work load of a 100 miler?

ParticipantLynda,
Started the winter off with a pretty big base for me.
N8rhino
ParticipantSorry that was a typo.

ParticipantMine works just fine?
N8rhino
ParticipantIs that why they are releasing Training Peaks 3.0?
