Hi MTBKT. Couldn’t help but chime in, having used Lynda’s programs for BCBR 2017 this year and improving my finish time (compared to 2015) by OVER 4 HOURS! These programs are hands down the BEST training tools I’ve ever used (I recommend the Training Peaks version which makes planning and tracking workouts a cinch.) Good LUCK at next year’s event! Get ready to have the time of your LIFE! Also, check out the “Fuel Right, Race Light” eBook linked under ‘MTB Training Plans’ above. Another EXCELLENT resource!

Tried that but there are still 3 workouts missing total duration.
Week 1 Day 4 – L5 4×4
Week 2 Day 2 – Threshold Intervals
Week 2 Day 4 – L5 4×4
Not sure whether it makes a difference or not but I ordered Masters 40+ Build Peak Race a few months ago before I started the Base program so that I could stack the plans in prep for BCBR in July 2017.
Just noticed a couple of other discripancies.
The same workout (L5 4×4) in week 2 is missing it’s duration as well. Should I plug in 60 mins there as well?
Also in week 2, day 2 (Threshold Intervals) is missing a duration.
Everything else in BuildPeakRace appears to be intact.

I can’t say enough about what an incredible value and service you provide! I’m finishing up your Masters Base Program and getting ready to start Build Peak Race and already finding great success with respect to consistency, motivation, power output progression and overall performance compared to friends that I ride with regularly. I have great discipline but lack restraint sometimes when it comes to ‘overdoing it’ so being able to tap into your expertise occasionally via these forums has been extremely helpful toward keeping me on track. I did BCBR in 2015 with no formal training (just a LOT of long slow distance) and, though it was a life changing experience, it nearly did me in. I had to take a lot of time off in order to recover properly but I’m back at it and, with your training programs, have confidence that I’ll finish the same event in 2017 much more gracefully than before.
