Hi Lynda, I purchased your 100 mile PR plan early this spring to train smarter and race faster this season. While I improved my time from last year at Cohutta 100 and Mohican 100 I still wasn’t able to finish under 9hrs until this past weekend at Wilderness 101. I felt really good not just on the long climbs but also on the rocky loose descents. This was my last long ride before Leadville. I know I can race and finish a 100 mile mtb race but I want to finish strong and within my time goal. My only concern is the altitude as I have never been that high above sea level. Any advice, tips even old wives tales on how to help me deal with it on the race day would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for a great plan, it gave my training an order and helped me stay focused on my goals.
