ParticipantHello. This is my first experience with your plans. I have only heard good things. I am a 50+ female former MTB racer. I have always kept a good base as I ride several times per week on both MTB andRoad bike. I am racing the Julian Death March in April and will be challenging myself in climbing and speed. I don't know if the 100mile PR or the 50+ Masters Park City program would be best for this race. The total climb for the event is 13K feet. Thanks for your input.

KeymasterWhat is your goal finish time for the race?

ParticipantHard to say at this point. I know that the total cut off is 12 hours for all 86 miles. I would like to at least finish the 64 mile by 8 hours. Then attempt the final 22 time permitting.

KeymasterCynthia,
I recommend you follow the 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race – Finisher Plan
to train for Julian Death march. This race is as challenging as most 100 milers. That is the best plan for you.
