DaveKeymaster- Hello Lynda;
- Endurance racing, XC US Cup and CX
I am on the PR 50 Miler week 3 day 1, I will complete the plan one week prior to the Counting Coup (44 mile, 8000 ft ascent) which is April 6, can you plz suggest what I should do for the week prior to my race?Can I switch the workouts around in the week, I don't always have 3 hrs on Thursdays for tempo but I do on Tuesdays, can I switch the cadence drills on Tuesdays & do Tempo and vise versa? Or keep to plan..I am interested in stacking plans for this yr:After the CC, I would like to do some US Cups xc in SoCal and prepare for my A race Downieville Classic Race Aug 3-4. I wasn't sure if the Cat 1 plan would be good for me or if the Cat 1 plan is ok for Dville, there are 4 months in between the CC and my priority race D-ville.Goal 1:Priority race is the Downieville Classic August 3-4;29 mile xc17 mile super D,Goals are to win age category, I have won in the past.Goal 2 and Main goal:Be strong for cyclocross season; which starts in September and to peak in December-January. Any suggestions for this..Your plan is awesome so far and I love reading your forums for information.Thanks so much for your plans..Christina

Keymaster- I recommend repeating week #6 to stretch your plan out another week.
- Switch the rides to fit your schedule.
- Category 1 Cross Country Mountain Bike Build, Peak and Race Training Plan is perfect for Downieville.
