ParticipantHi Guys,
I have only recently finished my first event which was a four day MTB stage race. I am a bit sore now but am very eager to start building for the next challenge. I am planning (ok hoping!) on doing a solo 24hr MTB race in November with some 4 hour and then 7 hour races roughly each month before then. I turn 40 in a few months and I suspect I may need more regular recovery weeks than prescribed on the 24 finisher plan.
Would you guys suggest purchasing the 24 finisher plan and adding recovery weeks more often making the 12week plan say 15weeks or modifying another plan?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ashley

KeymasterAshley,
Following the 24 finisher plan and adding recovery weeks more often making the 12 week plan say 15 weeks is a great plan. Add in these extra recovery weeks after the 7 hour events you are doing.
