I’m traveling for business on week 2 of week 2 of Masters 50 Personal Record Plan and I have the Breck 32 race on the calendar for July 18th. It’s not an A-race, but I’d still like to have a good showing. Please advise on how to adjust training schedule. Thank you.

sorry about that. 6/23 for me is the start of week 2. Breck 32 on July 18th will be close to the end of Week 5.

What do you mean in your original post with this phrase “week 2 of week 2”? I can’t answer anything before you clarify that.

Are you asking about training schedule adjustments for week 2 and week 5?
Are you telling me you will have zero training in week 2 and asking for training adjustments to week 5?
6/23 is a Tuesday. Is your day #1 each week a Tuesday?
What week # and day # is July 18th for you.

I just won’t be able to ride this week (week 2), but I’m expecting to hit the gym for strength maintenance. I’m asking for training adjustments to week 5. July 18th will be day 6 of Week 5. Thank you.

In week 5, take a rest day on day 4, race day 6 and take a day off on day 7.
