I’m in week six of the masters PR training plan. I have a life event that I can’t miss in week 7, day 6 and 7. These are the 4 and 6 hour rides that I will miss. Should I move them to day 3 and 4 of week 8 (my only option)and then resume the plan. I’m fearful of not getting these rides completed as there is only one more long ride cycle before ORAMM. I have followed a stacked series since January and I’m achieving awesome results… oRAMM is july29. What do you recommend? Thanks

KeymasterHi Jim,
Will you tell me exactly which masters PR training plan you are following? We have a 50 miler, 100 miler, 3-4 day stage race, 5-7 day stage race.

KeymasterJim,
Moving these rides from week 7 day 6/7 to week 8 day 3/4 is a good option. Drop the intensity of your ride scheduled for week 8 day 6 to zones 1-3 base training pace to recover fully from the 4 and 6 hour rides.
Great to hear you are achieving awesome results on our stacked training plans.
