    Hi Lynda,
    BCBR was my big event for this year. Thanks again for your help earlier this year with that. I quit following a structured cycling training plan in October but continued the strength training maintenance (2x/week) for the first time ever. I have the Masters 40+ Cross Country Base Plan ready to start 12/31. Should I start with the strength training “as is” or skip the adaptation weeks and start somewhere else? Not sure what my plans are for 2019 but the base plan is always a good start.

    Hi Lee,

    I recommend moving from strength maintenance phase to the adaptation phase and then on through the other strength training phases. Varying your training leads to additional benefits over maintaining the same routine for long periods of time.
