Just finishing the last week of Masters Cross-Country Base training plan. Looking for the next 12 week block. Each day at BCBR will be around 3-6 hours. I was going to go with the Masters 50 mile mountain bike race – personal record plan next. Then I was going to follow that up with the 7 day mountain bike stage race – personal record. Sound reasonable?

50 miler plan – 7 day SR plan is a good combo.
I like this plan stack also:
Masters 40+ Cross Country Mountain Bike Build Peak and Race Mountain Bike Training Plan – Masters 40+ Mountain Bike 5-7 day Stage Race Mountain Bike Training Plan. This training plan stack will add speed and power more than endurance. You will have plenty of time to work on endurance in the 7 day SR plan. If your goal is to get faster, a speed focused block between your base and SR plan is a powerful combo.
