I just purchased the 2-5 day bike packing plan. My next big event is the Huracan 300 in Florida which starts February 3, 2024.
My question is: Given that the plan in 12 weeks, it would not start until November 3rd. Do you have a recommendation for how to best utilize the 12 week plan given that I currently have 19 weeks until race day starts?
I am not starting from scratch. I have a decent strength and aerobic base already built, although in the last two months I have been slowly shifting into more saddle time (probably currently 3 hours total during the weekdays and back to back longer rides of 2-4 hours on the weekends.

Thanks for your purchase. With 19 weeks to train for Huracan 300, I recommend you start on 9/25 with our Masters 40+ Mountain Bike Base Mountain Bike Training Plan
As you already have a decent strength and aerobic base built I recommend starting the Base plan on 9/25 at week #1, then jump forward and follow weeks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. The week of 11/6, take a week off training for extra rest and recovery or family time or use this week to catch up on a missed week. On 11/13 start your 2-5 day bike packing plan and follow all 12 weeks through to a peak at Huracan 300.
The 40+ Masters Base plan is a great one to have in your library. You can reuse it as many times as you like. This is the plan that goes first in most plan stacks.
