ParticipantLynda,
I'll try to keep this short.

KeymasterCourtland,
FYI: I define FTP (Functional Threshold Power) as mean maximal 60 min power not 20 min power. To get a rough FTP equivalent multiply your 20 min mean maximal power by 0.93.
The US Cup West schedule is a surprise. It starts at Bonelli and throws out three back-to-back race weekends Bonelli – Fontana – Sage Brush, one week off then Sea Otter and Santa Ynez back-to-back again.
You need to hit Bonelli peaked and tapered. From there to the Santa Ynez race you will be on a rest and race plan with no training time in between.
Bonelli is only 14 weeks away. I suggest doing 2 more weeks of Base training then starting the Build, Peak and Race plan on 12/29. Or start the plan on 12/22 to give yourself a week of wiggle room to take in-case you get sick or too busy to train and have a throw away week.
So I'd assume you have all the Base you need and train to race now.
After Santa Ynez I'd look a how you are ranked in the series and what the priority of the final race is compared to Creampuff and Tahoe at that point to make the decision on how to focus your training. That might be the point to move to a 100 miler plan or not.
