ParticipantLinda,
On your Masters 40+ 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race PR Plan, you include time for “Restorative yoga”, I couldn’t find anything more details on your site. Do you have any recommendations on which routine to follow?
Thanks,
Bob

KeymasterBob,
You are right, I don’t have any info on this on my site. Thanks for pointing that out. That is now on my to-do list.
A general full body stretching session will fit nicely as restorative yoga. If you have a Yoga studio available a “Yin Yoga” class will fit nicely too. It is ok to run over the allotted time for restorative yoga if you want to fit in a Yin Yoga class. Avoid Power Yoga classes as they are not restorative in nature but kick-ass workouts.
A good yoga resource is the site DoYogaWithMe.com. Choose Yin Yoga or Gentle Yoga or Yoga Therapy in the style search box to access the restorative type yoga. There is not a perfect 20 min class on this site but you can mix and match different videos to learn poses and stretches.
This is an 11 min class that is great for cyclists http://www.doyogawithme.com/content/yoga-therapy-hips. Do that class and mix in another 9 mins of your own stretching to get your 20 min session.
Does that help?
