I am at week 5 Day 7 of Masters Cross Country Base plan ( Enjoying it so far , thanks).
For a bit of fun I have entered a low key race that will coincide with :WEEK 7 DAY 7.
Its 60km / Flat and I expect to take 2hrs , 15 min ish .
I know its outside of the plan , but I was wondering how I should modify that week , I was expecting to drop maybe day 6 to keep the TSS closer to where it should be ?

You are on the right track. Drop day 6 and race day 7. The following week 8 drop the intervals and replace with recovery rides on days 2 and 4. You should be good to get back on track with the training plan by day 6.
Great to hear your races are back on in NZ. We have not done as good of a job stamping out covid here and all of our events are cancelled or heavily modified.
