ParticipantHi Lynda ill be set up with a PM right after the holidays. One thing I noticed is the way your plans are written they call for power to be done in a zone a lot of the time, which means there isn’t a precise number to hit, just a zone to stay in. I have read a lot about riders who do intervals and power work at a very specific number.. 4×3 minutes at 315 for instance. Is there a reason you train us with zones versus exact numbers? My best guess is its because you don’t get to know all your athletes on a one to one level. And is it then effective to train by zones or is that too much of a variable? Thanks Lynda

KeymasterEach power level aims at a specific physiological target. These regions of your physiology cannot be defined by a single number but are captured by a range. For example power L4 is your threshold range and L5 VO2max.
