ParticipantLynda,
I'll try to keep it short? So Just picked up a Stages PM for the mtn bike. Been using a Quarq for years on rd bike. It seems like my sustained power is dramatically higher on the mtn bike? Like as high as 30 watts regardless of distance/time? Thoughts?
I've been recovering pretty well from my hernia op (7 wks this thurs) and been in the saddle a good amount. My CTL pre op was around 98, bottomed out at 45 and has shot back up to 75-78 most of that in the past 3 wks? No soreness, mental/ physical fatigue and sleep is normal. Been adding more core and upper body work with each wk as is tolerable.
Recovery- added L-Glute and Querciten to supp regiment and appears to really reduce DOMS and ability to go at it again! Past wknd Sat 3:20 hrs, 6k vert and 60 miles on rd followed Sun w/ 3:20hrs, 40 miles, 5k vert on mtn bike. Legs feel good and body isn't sore. I've got 4 wks until Breck Epic plan starts. Any thoughts?

KeymasterSounds like you are doing great! As your CTL rises ramp rate should shrink. Continue to be diligent with recovery techniques and take a deep recovery week before the plan starts to ensure you are fresh. Nice work with your comeback.
