      Hi Lynda.
      I think I am going to change the focus / priority of my events in August and make the bikepacking event (200 miler) my goal over the gravel event a few weeks later. I feel like I really need to get the bikepacking experience before winter comes and I’m dealing with even more outside environmental factors, like super cold temps, etc.
      I start training again next week and wondered if the 24 hr solo plan or the 2-5 day bikepacking plan is the best fit? I was leaning towards the 24 hour? Also, any thoughts on how to approach either of those plans from a masters 40+ standpoint? Thanks!

      Given your goals I recommend the 2 – 5 day Bikepacking Race Mountain Bike Training Plan for you.

      To modify this plan for a Masters 40+, add more recovery and drop days on the plan when needed.
