ParticipantHi Lynda,
When I started planning for this years races I wasn’t sure what was going to be happening (I suppose everything’s really still up in the air!) but I’ve settled on doing the Colorado Trail Race.
It turns out I started my “Winter Training Plan for Endurance Distance Mountain Bikers Training Plan” WAY too early to stack with the CTR training plan. I’m 6 weeks in and I’ll be done with this plan on March 1st.
Since I’ll be doing the Colorado Trail Race this year on July 25, I should start that on May 3rd which leaves me with all of March and April unaccounted for.
Could you help me come up with a plan to help with my botched plan timing?
Thank you!

KeymasterHi Jon,
I recommend you complete the Winter Training Plan for Endurance Distance Mountain Bikers Training Plan then use your time in March and April to do a Base training block with the Masters 40+ Mountain Bike Base Mountain Bike Training Plan. Follow the end of the plan. For example if you have 8 weeks, follow weeks 5-12.
