Hi! I’m looking for the right plan (plan finder wasn’t working). I’m mountain biking from telluride to durango starting on July 22nd over 4 days (self guided with hermosa tours) so minimal bikpacking gear. I’m 38 and have a pretty average skill level. I’m a working professional and generally ride my peloton 3-4 days a week and now that it’s nice can get outside for longer rides on the weekends. Do you have any recommendations on a plan? Thanks so much.

I recommend you follow our 3-4 Day Mountain Bike Stage Race – Personal Record Mountain Bike Training Plan to prepare for your event. This is a race level plan. To dial it down to a recreational level plan I recommend replacing the day 7 (Sunday) ride every week with a rest day.
