      I completed the Week 5, day 7 workout of the Masters 50 Mile Mountain Bike Race Personal Record Training Plan. First event is Mohican 100K on June 3rd

      After the 5 hour moderate effort ride, I have pain at the back of my knee that feels like stretched ligaments. Is this a result of bad form? Do you have a recommendation fot how to keep training without making it worse?

      My progress on the plan feels really good. I’m looking forward to race day.

      Great to hear you are progressing nicely on the plan.

      There are many causes to a pain in the back of the knee. A seat height that is too high is one of the most likely causes. I recommend you get a professional bike fit done. If this came up in training it is very likely to come up during the race.
