      Hi Lynda

      I am on the 2 week of the expert Cross Country Mountain Bike Build, Peak and Race Training Plan

      And i have a question on the wednesdays training:

      Workout description:

      On-Road Bike today. Warm up for 30 minutes ending with some short hard efforts. Then complete

      1/2. With a power meter on board you should ride these intervals in power L5 aiming for the highest wattage you can per interval.

      3. Intensity is more important than being on a hill. Doing this workout on flat roads works nicely. A good option for short hills if you have one, is to start the interval on the flat run into the hill and finish it at the top of the hill.

      Doing these intervals outside is much much much better than on the trainer provided conditions are safe (no ice etc).
