      Hi Lynda, I am starting the CAT 1 XC Base plan and I stay in hotels a lot for work 3-4 days a week. I get the priority workouts done at home on the bike and the strength training in hotel gyms. On non strength training days at the hotel do you recommend cross training such as running, gym stationary bikes (usually not high quality) or just taking the day off?

      Hi Chiefgief,

      I recommend scheduling your recovery days to coincide with your non-strength hotel days. If you are tired from training/work/travel etc, take the day off. If you are all caught up on your sleep and have good energy, do an easy recovery ride on the gym bike.
