I’m trying to decide which of the offseason plans to choose?
I don’t want to limit my winter activities (I don’t ride in the winter) too much but want to have a plan to follow including some weight training, perhaps something I can fit some weekly running into and some cycling specific conditioning so that when the time comes to get outside in the spring I am not at ground zero.
I am planning on doing 1 or 2 ultra distance 100k/100mile events next year. Nothing set in stone yet. But would also like to be able to hit some random events throughout the summer or maybe the local XC series in the spring.

Our Masters 40+ Mountain Bike Base Mountain Bike Training Plan would be the best fit plan for you that includes a solid weight training schedule.
You can drop any of the rides in the plan and run or ski instead.
