ParticipantLynda,
I'm in my last week of your Cat 1 XC Base plan, and have the Build plan queued up to start next week. These are both geared plans. I race geared and prefer to ride that way most of the time, but I have a singlespeed and I can hear it crying every time I walk by because I haven't ridden it in months.
Are there specific workouts in the Cat 1 XC Build Plan where I could ride the SS and not screw anything up? I don't want to ride it that often, just a few times a month for some variety.
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

KeymasterDon,
Riding SS once per week is great for training. I encourage it! Any ride can be done SS as long as your gear and chosen course allow you to hit your target intensity and duration for the day.

ParticipantPerfect, thanks for the response. I'll try it out next week.
