    Hi Lynda,

Thank you very much for masters personal best 100 mile training plan. I trained according to that plan and improved my race result for 25 min in my 120km race last Saturday. I’m really happy! 😀
I also noticed that I was able to race with lower heart rate than usually. My anaerobic threshold is 153, my race average was 148 (usually it has been around 155 or even more).

My question is, which training plan you would recommend for me next and how I could adjust my races to the training plan?My next races are:
    XCO 35 km on 21.7
    XCM 66 km on 3.8
    XCM 64 km on 8.9
    XCM 64 km on 21.9

    Thank you!

    Hi Tuula,

Great to hear your performance increased for your 120km race! Congrats.

Are all these next races of equal priority or do some have higher importance to you?

    Hi Lynda,

    Thank you! 🙂

Two of the races are higher priority to me. Both of them have quite steep hills on the race track.

    XCO 35 km on 21.7
XCM 66 km on 3.8 priority
    XCM 64 km on 8.9
XCM 64 km on 21.9 priority

    Hi Tuula,

I recommend on each race week you follow week 12 and the week prior to race week follow week 11 or if enough time week 10 and 11.

After your race on 3.8 take a week off training for extra recovery, then repeat the cycle above.
    Date Plan week
    7/8/2019 11
    7/15/2019 12, race week
    7/22/2019 10
    7/29/2019 11
    8/5/2019 12, race week
    8/12/2019 off
    8/19/2019 10
    8/26/2019 11
    9/2/2019 12, race week
    9/9/2019 11
    9/16/2019 12, race week

    Hi Lynda,

    Thank you very much! 🙂
How long recovery/ rest/ other activity period you would recommend after my race season before I start again with my Masters Basic training plan? I’m 50 years old female.

    Have a great week! 🙂

    Tuula,

A minimum of 2 weeks and up to 6 weeks if you are mentally tired of riding and training.
