MemberHey Lynda,
This Sat 2-27 is two weeks off from the last 24. 5-01 is the next one. Can I just jump in at week 9 of the 24 PR or should I do something different? My legs feel fine right now.
Also, Colorado Trail Race is on the schedule, I'd like to have a structured plan again, the question is do I do the 7 day or 4 day. I hope to fall somewhere between 4 and 7 days with my results.
Hope you have a great day!

KeymasterSean,
Nice work again on your 2nd place solo at Old Pueblo.
Restart the 24 Hr PR plan on 3/1 at week #4 in the plan. Week #4 is a rest and test week and the perfect place to start. If your legs feel flat (to be expected) skip the test and use the test data from week #4 test prior to OP. Then roll through the plan to finish up at your 5/1, 24 hour solo.
AFTER that 24 take a super deep rest before starting back up for CTR. At least 7 complete days off the bike and 7 super easy short spinny days.
Colorado Trail Race!! Cool!! None of my plans posted right now are any good for that race!! The stage race plans prep you to drill it for 4-5 hours a day then have a nap, massage, dinner, sleep etc – that aint CTR!!
I am as familiar with CTR as you can get without racing it. My LW Coaching partner Dave Harris did race it and finish it last year. He knows ALL about what you need to get it done at CTR. We are in the process of writing a 12 week training plan exactly for CTR right now. It will be posted for sale on April 1st so hold tight for that one.
You would start the CTR plan mid May.
The CTR plan is in design and discussion right now so if you have any specific requests or input for the plan post up and we probably can roll it in.

MemberLynda ,
Thanks a bunch for the reply. I will totally wait for the new plan. Looking forward to the suffering you and Dave will put me through!
I've done a ton of off road touring, generally at a pretty good pace, but CTR will be very new for me so I'll leave it to you two experts to guide me through the training.
