MemberI have used the 12 week Endurance and Weight Loss plan to prepare to move up from CaT 3 XC to CaT 2 XC. I used the plan up till today which was my first race as a CaT 2 rider. I am happy with my finish today….
The plan was a success, when I started using this program I was 5'8, 168. Today I weighed in at 153. I would say thats awesome. And I was already lean….
I plan on starting the CaT 2 XC Build, Peak, Race program after a much needed week off. During this program, is it possible to use this program for 2 or 3 road races/crits this season?

KeymasterCongrats on your 15lb weight loss. That will make a huge difference in your cycling performance.
Racing a crit or a road race is a good substitute for a harder ride or interval session. When you add a race to your schedule, take out a session from the training plan to stay in balance.

MemberThanks Ms. Lynda. Your advice is always critical.
Sitting on the couch instead of working out or riding is much needed….I think I ll do it for he rest of the week. Thx.
