Hello All – I have been watching some of my friends throughout the years on Powercranks. And I was always impressed with the smoothness of their pedal stroke – a consistent “spinning” is what they had developed. Since I am taking a break from the race season, and just doing rides for fun – I decided to borrow my friends Power Crank bike, and have gotten up to being able to ride it for 30 to 45 minute sessions without much cheating (coasting).

I have to say, I like the way my legs feel the day after – sore, but strong. And from what I have read about them, the Power Cranks are key in developing hip flexors, gluts, and core strength – the very parts of our body that we are supposed to be concentrating on in the off season.  Im mixing this in with some physical therapy and some light weight training – prior to getting into full training mode in December.

Does anyone have experience that we could learn from? Curious what Lynda thinks about the PC's?

Thanks for posting your thoughts and feedback about your experience with Power Cranks.

PC's are one of many tools that can add variety and amusement in the off-season and contribute to a balanced and healthier body, just like your physical therapy.
