KeymasterYou should look to see if you produce more watts or are faster. HR may go up, go down or stay the same. A change in HR does not indicate improved performance, watts and speed do.

KeymasterGo drive it in your car to measure it or buy a cyclocomputer. You can get basic ones that record speed time and distance for under $10.
