      I am starting the weight Loss and Base Training Plan and wonder if I have to have a power meter or if I can just use a heart rate monitor to establish my baseline? Investing in yet another piece of expensive technology isn’t very appealing right now.

      Hi Dina,

      You can follow 100% of the plan with a heart rate monitor only. A power meter is an optional added extra.
