DaveKeymasterLynda,
Im currently on week 8 of the Cat 1 MTB build peak and race plan. I will peak for Sea Otter Cat 1 race is on 4/20/12 following Sea Otter I have a race every weekend for 7 weeks and they are all high priority races, Santa Ynez, Idlewild Spring Challenge, and then Sierra Cup Races. All races are around 20-30 miles except for Sea Otter which is closer to 40 miles. What should I be doing to maintain peak form for such an extended period of time? It seems that the workouts in the last two weeks of the plan are less intense and If I just cycle those workouts for 7 weeks, Im afraid I will loose form. Thanks Curtis

KeymasterFor your 7 week racing period after week #12 and Sea Otter repeat week #10 to maintain your fitness for the duration. If you feel too tired to pull off week #10 after an extra hard race repeat week #12.
