Do you recommend a icy blast of cold water on legs in the shower after a hard session?
If so do you end do it after washing, and end on cold before stepping out or is it best to go back to warm/hot before stepping out of the shower?

What is your goal? What are you aiming to acheive with an icy blast of cold water?
If the goal is recovery, I don’t recommend a blast of icy shower water. It could be effective if your goal is to adapt yourself to cold conditions.
I do recommend submerging your legs in cold water for 7-10 mins post ride to enhance recovery.
