      Hi Lynda,

Last week I finished the AZTR plan with my intention of racing the Huracan 300. I really enjoyed the plan and was feeling prepared for the Huracan. Unfortunately, I got a stick stuck in my rear wheel just under 10 miles into the route. 3 broken spokes and a derailleur twisted beyond repair. I had to dnf. Later that day I got my bike fixed and did around 2 more hours of riding but didn’t rejoin the race since I didn’t want a 5+ hour penalty from waiting around for bike shops to open.

My plan was to take this week as a rest week then start week 11 of the 6hr pr plan for a race on April 5th.

Since I only rode around 3 hours on Saturday and took yesterday off should I start week 10 of the 6 hr plan or still take this week off?

      Thanks for your advice,
      Bryan

No, unfortunately I can’t get back up there next weekend. My best bet is to start preparing for my 6 hr (6 hours of warrior creek) since I won’t make it back to the huracan until next year. I’m just not sure if I should take this week easy/off or join the 6hr pr plan today.

      Thanks,
      Bryan

Aww that's a disappointment having a mechanical so early in the race Cry

Join the 6 hour PR plan today on week #10. You should feel rested and ready after the prior plans taper.

      Lynda
