MemberHello,
I'm in week 3 of 7d stage race PR plan and I can't train next weekend except for a short ride on Saturday. The plan has 6h rides Sat. and Sun. which I'll miss. I'm between 2 options:
1 – keep on plan for weekdays and change only the weekends 3 and 4. This means, keep with the planed intervals during this week (mon-fri), antecipate the Test for this Saturday, keep with the rest week planed next week (mon-fri) and postpone the 6h rides for weekend 4.
2- or, antecipate the whole rest and test week (no. 4) for this week(3) and either start the next phase (weeks 5-6) on week 4 or postpone this planed week (no. 3) for next week.
I hope I wasn't too confusing…
Being my first post on the forum, I must say I followed the Expert XC Base Crunched Plan in preparation before this and it's going fantastic so far. I'm getting great results out my limited time and enjoying my best shape ever at this stage in training.
Thanks!

Keymaster#1 Option is the one I recommend.
At this point for you the 20 minute test is a lower priority than the 6 hour back-to-back rides. Drop the test from the plan if you feel too tired to put it in on the rescheduled day. Continue to use the test numbers from your most recent test for heart rate training zones and power training levels.
Thanks for the postive words on the Expert XC Base Time Crunched training plan.
