I am a 50 year old amateur and I followed your “Category 1 TIME CRUNCHED Cross Country Mountain Bike Build, Peak and Race Training Plane” course doing only three sessions per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). Due to covid the only opportunity for me to compete in mtb in the 2020 is that of a trophy of 6 short races, in cyclocross style, but with the mtb. Each race will be held in a circuit of about 3-5 km to be repeated for 50 minutes on flat or low altitude. The trophy consists of 6 races that will take place from 11 October to 29 November (11/10 – 18/10 – 1/11 – 8/11 – 15/11 – 29/11). My training plan has been organized in such a way that it ends on the day of the first trophy race. Question: What type of training can I do to keep the form between the first and last race?

On race weeks (11/10 – 18/10 – 1/11 – 8/11 – 15/11 – 29/11) follow week 12 of your training plan and on the 2 non-race weeks follow week 11.
