MemberHey Lynda, I'm in my 5th week of the 50 mile PR plan. I should have asked this when I started. The race I'm training for will be a lap race. 4 laps at 12.5 miles. Utilizing pit stops for bottle hand ups, etc. Is there any thing about the plan I should do different? I'm lucky that I'm able to follow it almost to the letter.
Thanks
Mark

Lynda
KeymasterMark,
When you have sessions that call for you to mimic the race course use at least one of them to do on a lapped course to practice fast pit stops. In a 50 miler you should not need any significant stop time, just grab a bottle and go.
