MemberQuick question on the 12 hr solo finisher plan. I was not able to do the
prescribed 8 hours (due to life/logistical issues) but did do 5.5 hrs, although
I didn't eat right so it wasn't a great ride. Question is whether I should shoot
for the 8 hr ride next weekend?

KeymasterThe prime goal of the 8 hour ride was to learn how to spend 8 hours riding non-stop (pacing, fueling etc) You already had that in the bag May 15th (great job!).
I recommend sticking to the plan. Don't make up the missed 2.5 hours. Move on with the plan and arrive at race day fresh and ready.
