That sounds like a fun and challenging season you have laid out.
I recommend you stack the training plans to fit your season as follows:
11/26/2012 Start the 12 week Winter Training Plan for Endurance Distance Mountain Bikers
2/18/2013 Take the week off training for recovery or use it as a catch up week for any missed training weeks.
2/25/2013 Start the 12 week 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race – Finisher Plan finishing it with a peak at your “A” race Syllamos Revenge.
5/20/2013 Take a week off training after Syllamos for recovery.
5/27/2013 Do a low volume week of easy recovery focused rides.
6/3/2013 Follow week #1 of the 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race – Personal Record Plan or if you are still tired from Syllamos do another low volume recovery week.
6/10/2013 Start the 12 week 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race – Personal Record Plan finishing it with a season high performance at Shenandoah 100.
9/2/2013 Take a week off training for recovery.
9/9/2013 Repeat week #12 of the 100 Mile Mountain Bike Race – Personal Record Plan and enjoy racing Fools Gold 100 with all the fitness you have spent the season building.
That is great you have fixed your patella tracking issues. You can substitute a Crossfit workout for any strength session. Look forward in your schedule and if you have a high intensity ride scheduled for the following day, be conservative with your WOD efforts giving about 80% effort instead of the normal 110%.
